Frank Lloyd Wright an outstanding architect in the history of this country. He built some of the country’s most outstanding pieces of architecture. Today people still see his work and are amazed by the outstanding work. Some people may not consider him one of the greatest architects, but he was one of the greatest architects that lived.
The famous architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, was born in the Richland Center, Wisconsin on June 8, 1867. His father, William Carey Wright, was a Baptist Minister and music teacher. His mother, Anna Lloyd Jones Wright, made comments of her son becoming an architect and it was her destiny to make him one.

In 1887 Wright left the university and went to Chicago where he designed his own building while working for Joseph Lyman Silsbee. Later in 1887 he left Joseph and would become a designer for the firm of Adler and Sullivan. Wright became their chief draftsman. Sullivan loved Wright’s work. But in 1893 Wright left the firm and made his own office in Chicago. (more…)
